User Surveys

In addition to natural observation, we discovered more about the Find exam through constructing a post-test survey for participants. After three iterations with the help of PerZeption’s co-founder, Jan, the final Qualtrics survey asks users which Find tests they took, then presenting applicable questions.

The survey includes qualitative and quantative questions. For each individual test, the participant fills out the SUS usability scale to help us understand their experience. Our findings confirmed the users’ interest in gamification, clearer directions, and progress indicators.

In the future, this survey will be rolled out to a larger audience of study participants throughout the Boston area, including hospitals and doctors offices, to provide a more complete picture of our users.
